Where does it hurt the most?
In the depths of the heart.
I sealed it with the thick puddle of a concoction,
And a patch of cloth.
With an unwinding thought,
Let the world not see the wound!
My mother says it would heal,
And days pass by to reveal just a brown latch of time.
Days have winded away,
Giving an unscathed way,
I peeled off the band-aid and it still hurts,
It’s all flesh, red and lame!
Still it hurts!
Where does it hurt the most?
Still in the depths of the heart!

some wounds never heal...
and no matter how much it's soothed, the wound always remain fresh....
